Yeah. I hate it when bible beaters quote this 'men cna't lay with eachother' bull in order to justify calling homosexuals perveted fiends. You can find that in the bible, Leviticus, chapter 20 verse 13.These other lines are found in the same chapter, verses15, 18 and 9 respectively.
You cursed your parents? Sorry, buddy, but according to Leviticus you're going to hell and will die.
You ever slept in the bed with a girl having her period? You'll be kicked out of humanity. No one will like you!
If a sheep gets raped, well, it'll be killed.
Yes, this chapter holds so much wisdom at times...

Yes, I think Leviticus shouldn't really be where we get our guidence from. Instead spread Jesus' words of love and forgiveness!

Thank you for taking the time to post here, but I'm Christian, have studied the bible for years and have put my faith in Jesus since I was old enough to understand the concept.
This comic I made was meant to be a commentary on how many Christians view homosexuals due to this passage in Leviticus (and another in... What, Deuteronomy? I'll look that up later.) I think you are taking this comic out of context and didn't get what I meant with it at all.

I enjoy beeing part of one of the most liberal protestant churches worldwide: the church of sweden.
I have a christian friend who is also gay who tells me it's sometimes much easier being gay in the church than being christian in the gay-community...
Lets face it: God is the important thing, not the words that someone wrote down four milleniums ago. God is Love!

Attended a private episcopal school for 12 years... it made me realise how much of the time the bible has contradictions and I get incredibly angry when I see people using the bible to condemn the gay community etc.

Wow, 12 years of hearing biblical rubish....I couldn't do it. I was brought up in a religious family, but i never could wrap my head around what they were teaching, exspecailly when it came to homosexuality.

I'm Catholic and go to a Catholic school, but i love to see humour relating to the bible, cos really, some of the stuff in there is pretty bias at times (really hope i'm not offending anyone here, please don't tomato me!) i mean like the whole 'husband controls wife' thing they go on about some of the time. Anyways, great piece! Love the expression on Jesus' face!

Having spend 4 weeks with a baptist priest as a hostfather ( whom I of course loved when he or his community weren't trying to tell me to hate my gay friends back at home), I always enjoy a nice bashing of good old Leviticus!

Yeah, I'm not too big on actaully attending church, myself. Well, I attended a private school where we had to attend chapel 5 days a week (I attended that school 12 years) so I think I'm good for a while. A bit churched out, I am.
