Adobe Flash 8/CS3 Basic knowledge of Flash/Actionscript to understand the code/interfeceHow to add your own mp3s to the list:
Open up Flash 8/CS3 Double-click the movie-clip with instance name dock2_mc Click the listbox (instance name - music_lst). In the Parameters panel, delete all the items in label and data arrays and add your own items.Note:
You cannot play local files if the player is on a network. And you cannot play files on a network, if the player is a local file. It is due to Flash sandbox security issue. My way of coding in Actionscript is really messy, so if you don't understand anything, don't hesitate to ask me! The SWF version of the MP3 Player is here: [link]

Hi, I downloaded your file, worked on this, I really like the simple way you did. I am now attaching it into my movie from loadmovie action but i am facing these problems
1. the buttons stop working when I see the preview i.e mute, pause play, stop etc. etc.
2. and all of the worst happens when I click on the next track button and it start playing without stopping the previous one.
can you please help me out how to stop the other track, I have the the updated file with me, if you say i will forward it to you, pls help!!!!!

xml is quite easy to implement..... just a few more lines of code, but due to flash security issues, i have not included support for xml

what i did with my site is i coded the whole discography page to run as a massive xml mp3 where you select a song or album an dit streams in the player above (kinda like beatport) and it will stream those songs in repeat all fashion while you navigate through the site
