Backstory : Ai was born in Narita, Japan to parents of Japanese descent. She attended Elementary school and middle school in America due to her father's acting career. Her mother is a designer for a lolita brand.She has a reliable older brother, a mature older sister and a little brother who is attending preschool. Her elder siblings work at the same video game company. Her parents are away quite frequently due to their careers, so in their stead, her elder siblings took care of Ai most of the time during Ai's childhood. Ai has always liked drawing because she felt that she became closer to her mother by doing so. The other reason is because she loves pretty colors.

While conversing about high school choices with her online friend from Japan, Ai set her eyes on Hoshino Gakuen due to the interesting classes that Hoshino offers. Ai is most excited about the art classes and hopes to join a few clubs during her stay at Hoshino Gakuen if she is accepted into the school.
