finally finished my first event piece~this features my PFT character alvaerele

tried a lot in this piece
not only to really get a composition to bring out the best in the piece
but also to find a good colour balance
the BG came as a surprise as it started out as scribbles, but it did give me a lot of practice
and im pretty happy with how it turned out overall
hopefully this is a step forward in the right direction ^^

i really love colouring, and slowly i came to lighting
i studied different ways for a couple of months and found a pretty decent way of doing them
ill make a tutorial sometime on lighting to show everyone >v<

I love those cool blues and blushing warm pinks of the sunrise and how it dyes everything in the picture a gentle hue. And the glowing magic sparks swirling around her brings such awesome dynamics to your drawing and to your lovely character as well! I absolutely love that visual distinction between the soft morning colours and her bold fighter's pose - it's balanced so perfectly! I have said it so many times to you on twitter but I love this so much. All the details and the depth it has. Alvaerele is cute and her outfit looks really nice. I love the weapon and how it works, also the cross guard is really cool.
The whole color scheme you went with is really soothing for me.
