Like do you just draw it straight on paper? Or do you draw the base first..?

For digital drawings (like this) I directly draw it on the computer with the pen tablet :3
Although there are times when I doodle on paper, instead of copying the doodle from the paper to the computer, I scan it and trace it instead. But most of the time it's direct.

I'm writing stories but they're really sucky (I suck in English too D:---) ;A; I also draw a webcomic for the first few characters on the top-part but the webcomic itself looks----rather ugly. (How they look here is far better than how they look on my comic especially during the early pages
