Adelie and one of her best friends, Leslie. Leslie is a Nurse, and a few years older than Adelie, acting as the voice of reason. As she often says to Adelie: “The last injured person I want to see on my ward is you.” So far she has successfully managed to keep Adelie out of harms way. Being next-door-neighbours, they often meet for a cup of tea to chat about their day. Adelie also drops by at the hospital if her schedule allows for it, to make sure Leslie takes a break.
