Nice work! Very reminiscent of the changing portraits of the Haunted Mansion!

Awesome. The Headless Horseman is one of my favorite ghosts.

Personally, I think in the book, it's Brom. But in the cartoon, it may very well be a ghost (it's left ambiguous in that one.) I also loved the way you made the Hessian and his horse in their mortal living forms. Very nice designs.

In Disney it's obviously a ghost, but in book it's Brom just doing a prank on Ichabod. There is a silent movie made loyal to the original text. And then we have Disney doing a horror with Horseman being the real phantom.
Also thank you for liking my design! I am working on the next one of him, portrayal of his first days in army on the American land.

There was also an animated movie where Brom made a deal with the phantasmic Horseman that, in exchange for him getting rid of Ichabod, Brom would later BECOME the new Horseman himself.
Can't wait for the picture. Is it going to be part of a series, leading up to his death?

Oh I know that one, but it's so silly done that I couldn't stop but just laugh at how everything is just cheaply looking and characters movements are just too off lol. However great concept and telling. Only designing and animating is bad.
And yeah I have been thinking about making a one-shot comic of Horseman's past before he lost his head. Basicly I roleplayed with my bf of a story where he took a play of Horseman (whom I also called Reiner von Allendorf) and I took a part of his beloved, and did the plot of his life before war, then him leaving to America and then his death and ghostly curse. And we still keep it going, because we simply love this one too much to stop

I agree. The animation was a little wonky, but the story, and especially the voice work, were VERY good. I especially liked Clancy Brown as the Horseman. Real fitting in my mind and I'm a big Clancy Brown voice work fan.
