Yes, there is definitely much improvement in the 2 (3??) year span. I can't say much about anatomy since it's a chibi, but I can see that the figure is more exposed, so whatever shyness was there is gone now. I like that there's more weight to her hair now and it's still fluffy, but in a more improved sense now. There's a definite better understanding of color now as I can tell from the more complex coloring of the cherries and the color palette. I like that the colors are more subdued and harmonize together a lot more, which really gives the piece a nice softer and calmly pleasing look.

the lines are much cleaner in the new one and i feel like its colors are more pleasant to look at. the old one is cute too though- i like it's overall "fluffiness."
