Haaaa~ Thanks so much. I don't understand the love for him either, but hey to each their own! <3 To be honest in most anime's I really like the bad guy, In this case I dun. I think they like him because they look past his.... Nakago-ness, and see his tragic past. But I can't like him for who he is now, I especially didn't like him after the whole..."I'm going to kiss you Tamahome to show you how I kissed Miaka because I'm a douche" I mean come on...

Hahaha, that made me laugh! You hit the nail on the head! I tend to like a lot of villains too, but only if they're done in the right way (I don't know if you watched Darkwing Duck, but the super villains were the best part of that show!) But that being said I like a villain who has more character than coldness and cruelness. I agree to each their own, and all the more power to people who do like him, but no amount of tragic past can justify his behavior in my opinion. Two wrong don't make a right, yadda yadda.
To tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind playing drunken spin the bottle with the whole crew (except Chiriko, of course, unless he manages to hit puberty by the time I get there!)
