G'aww, poor little Light. That's what you get for carrying that thing around in public, kiddo! (And no, the girl is not supposed to be anyone in particular. Just some lady he happens to be acquainted with, somehow.)And yes, I did use the name of an Agatha Christie book for the title on this one. Us fanartists can be classy too, y'know! ;]

Well, I've not seen the show myself... but one thing I know is all of them have fake names starting for L and Light or else L would know Light is Kira and the plot is supposed to be about discovering who's Kira and L trying to prove that Light is in fact Kira.

Light is his real name trust me. His whole name is Light Yagami. The only people who use fake names are L, watari, most of the task force and a few people in the future but I won't ruin that for you. Anyway if you watch the show within the first episode you will know that Light is Kira and Kira is his fake name although he doesn't go around telling people that because then he'd go to jail. L is a famous detective so he uses a fake name pretty much all the time. but Light is definitely the real name. Take this from someone who's seen the whole series from start to finish ^_^
