Commission for *KiraMizuno for buying Spaced Out!Character: Isibel
Description: Curious, energetic. She was a storyteller back in her country.
I decided to portrait her in one of those moment when she gets in the "zone", telling a story from a long long time ago XD. Kira was right saying that Kim from Spaced Out would probably love to hanging out with her. SOULMATES forever!!!

Yeah, I'm convinced I have something just wrong with me, so while I can write pretty well, if I want good art, I'll just need a partner in crime.

Overall it looks very nice. Good colors, background and the detail on the butterflies are nice.
However...that hand looks a bit off. I think her fingers are a bit too long. (I know, I know, hands are very hard to draw...)

thanks for the feedback! I think it would be wise if I spent a little bit of every week practicing drawing hands. It's a hard one to be good at without practicing XD

Ooh, I'm liking this! I like the storybook feel and when I looked at the description - she is a storyteller! She definitely has that air about her. I like her lively pose and expression. You did a nice job on the background to. The books in particular impress me.

BTW do you have any advice for me on how I should promote my manga? I'm kind of at a lost right now XD I dont know what else to do for people to see my work!

I could put your manga up for sale on my site: www.twila.nl if you want? You won't have to pay me for that because we're friends 
You can also spread your manga by drawing more of it and throw it in fitting groups on DA. The more you draw, the more people will come. Full-colour art makes people curious. You have just started on Da, but promoting books needs time. The coverart is the most important... make sure you only use your best of best works for that!
Or... you could approach a publisher. Or publish it yourself on www.lulu.com. When you submit a book there, you can add it to Lulus' marketplace and amazon.com.
Fleyers are another option.
Oh yeah... and put up an official site for your series. A www.yourownname.com site. Put all your books there online with a few comic pages. Having a site is very, very important if you want to promote a book. It is a must! And once your site is done, add it into your signature. I will also add it into mine if you want. When you chat around on DA, more people will see your site!
