Description Realistic portrait of Kimberly Mira

Kimberly Mira: Main character from my manga series "Spaced Out" [link] She is shy, socially ackward and spaces out all the time. In this picture she has grown to become a very lovely woman (I'd say she is about 30 on this picture). I'd love to take "Spaced Out" that far in her life if I could... but I think the current series is going to end a lot sooner than that XD



Tried new color technique: [link]

I followed each step. I did a layout of my light and shadows. It looked gorgeous... then I added the color in "multiply" like he said..... But it looked HORRID. So I spent a great amount of time playing with hue and fixing the mess it did <<. (there has to be a better way to put in the color... putting my color in multiply on top of grey layers just make it look desaturated)

Anyway, after trial and error, I came up with a result I am happy with.

Je trouve XD. D'habitude, c'Est plus épais, il me semble (côté largeur)

j'espère que ça va être plus facile que de le mettre en multiply XD La pauvre Kim avait l'air d'un zombie désaturé.... J'étais tellement découragée en plus que mon noir et blanc était super beau XD

The coloring came out very nicely, worth the work to fiddle around with it. And hey, makes it more yours than if you just followed the tutorial and trusted its results!
