I originally had this other idea in mind (I say that a lot for these training ground entries, don't I?) and in fact started it even (so surely will finish it sometime) but frankly the idea I was going for was already stressing me out. One thing I've learned when doing this event every time, be it daily or weekly, is that overshooting and trying to push oneself too much can result in more stress and less actual meaningful practice than intended; keeping things simple but pushing forward in small, yet meaningful and steady ways is not only the only way I'll truly improve myself, but the only way I'll be able to produce things for each week without stressing myself out.

So the idea I did end up going with was a simple, gentle piece -- perfect to go along with the mindset I wish to adopt when doing these, and elsewise as well -- featuring Fluttershy here. I know she's the only of the main ponies I haven't actually spent time and effort making a good focussed picture of yet, the other being Rainbow Dash until last week, so why not go ahead and do so? And there's no better time to draw a nice, calm picture like this than when the theme is sleeping. The other idea I had (and others besideS) were far more clever, but sometimes simplicity and serenity can far outweigh any level of cleverness, or at least sometimes it just feels more "right" to draw something like that.
