I love the stories of elder people... they have so much to share, and if one is able to really listen, what one learns can be amazing. I remember stories of my elders about the time when there was no radio, or about the times of war, or when the first TV came to town... among others.
And then, there were also stories that taught me so much about life and love and family and the world and the environment, and how everything was long ago....
I know nothing of your father in law, but I like his face and this portrait is very cool

Yea I would always love it when my grandfather would tell me
the same story ......he always told them so well and a bit different

I really like the angle! It's so neat how you can see where his eye is, but not really see it. I've never seen that effect before! Amazing as always!
