Description
Penn Gwenn is a breton cow, with Hermines on her coat. I made her for an exhibition that I'd been invited to take part in by a native Breton speaker. He had invited me as a result of reading a magazine article about me and my work which was written in Breton, the traditional language here in Brittany. She was named by the organiser after a cow his parents, who were farmers, had when he was a boy. Pen gwen means "white head".
