These questions were from just my curiosity, but I enjoyed reading your rep very much.And I'm glad that most of you like books...
And, My preference?
I cannot say I read so much(shame!) but I like international literature, such as Garcia Marquez, Karel Capek,Primo Levi,Italo Calvino,Alistair MacLeod...
and classics like Bronte sisters, and Austin, Dickens.
Of course in translation(I don't have so many language skills...lol).
In additions to that, I like sci-fi genre of course. I especially like Dougras Adams, and Ray Bradbury.
And I like non-fiction documentary or Biography genre, so is murder case and criminals misteries.....countless.
Oh, I forgot about that.I love comics and games of course!

I love novels especially ones that other call sad ,depressing and disturbing.I dont like fantasy or sci-fi at all.I just like to read about relationships and views noone other could see / make.And I love non-fiction about animal , biology,medicine or nature.Novels I read in English and in my native language , but for non-fiction ones I only go for German. And I like manga/comic.

1) I love books.
2) Books with substance, mostly. Stuff that makes you think or dream, with beautiful or powerful words. Kerouac, Dillard, Murakami are what I have read lately. I will start Balzac tomorrow.

I am not addicted to books but I enjoy a good read.
It has to grasp my attention and keep me glued in throughout otherwise I will put it to one side and not bother picking it up. It annoys me when the writer draws you in and then bores you after two chapters. A good book is rare to find. This art piece I believe shows that. Two books one being read and another on the sidelines just in case it gets boring. Glad its been read into though, so many pages and still going! Has to be a good read! I want that book! Haha!
