Description Thanks guys, for answering my journal. I feel really thankful to have such lovely and thoughtful people following my photography. I really do cherish (OR DREAD) your opinions and reading the comments just now has made the worry subside for the moment. So I figured I'd post this anyway, because you're right, it is my account!

So here's an updated shot of me, because I look back at my other self portraits and gasp WHO IS THAT. I really love parts of myself now, which has taken a while. Dad just groans and asks why I can't just enjoy my natural state but I guess I'm just a bit too excited about changing my hair. As for the metal, I have no excuses, I just like them. I ditched the lip piercing because my bird kept chewing it and it would get sore. I got it repierced but it feel out while I was sleeping, like, four days later. Oh well. Anyway, atm I have double nostril piercings, and my septum. I've only recently changed it to a cute little ring. Aw, my septum piercing is like a friend to me XD


So yeah, I look a bit different since the last time I uploaded one of these, ay. ALSO MY TATTOO LOOK AT MY TATTOO. He's so pretty, his name is Templeton because he's got temples, right.

ahh, i love that hair color! What color and brand is it? How did you get it so soft? O:
my hair is blue, but whenever I dye it it's so dark and bold, but when it fades it just looks like crap.

Aw, thankyou! It's definitely my favourite colour to have. I actually mix my own dye, I mix probably a pinky-nail size drop of Directions Rose Red and Alpine Green, and then I add conditioner to it, add about enough to cover my whole head. That makes it a pastel shade. You can also use a white toner, but conditioner is cheaper and easier to get for me, and just as effective. You can try adding a bit of dye to you shampoo or conditioner, that'll keep it looking a bit fresher.

And man, I had blue in my hair a while back, and it just would not fade. I ended up having to bleach it out, and even then it was just so damn stubborn lol XD

Ohh, wow : D See, I learned about coloring hair from my friend who generally just uses bold colors because that's just how she's been doing it for the last year and a half. And my OTHER friend has a wig basically the same color as your hair, and it's really, really pretty.

And yeah. After maybe the first weekend of November I'm going to rebleach my hair and start turning it yellow, then after it's really pure I'm gonna get it white. c:

Wow, you really have changed since the last portrait you shot. (And I remember seeing) But I have to say you look just beautiful. Not trying to be a creeper but I'm going to sound like one anyway, probably, at least I gave you fair warning. xD Your makeup looks great in this too. It's not overdone like 'it's a portrait I must look absolutely stunning', but it's enough where I could see you on the street and it looks natural. You have a really awesome, interesting style, I love the purple colour of your hair and your little septum piercing. That owl tattoo is amazing, I would love to know any meanings behind it. I could honestly stare at this photo for ages (which kinda sounds creepy but you're incredibly cute). The other thing I like about this self-portrait is that you have ths blurry background that kind of gives hints at your personality, maybe. Or I'm just reading too much into things.

I find that a lot of self-portrait photography is lacking in emotion, or when it has any it's all 'wooo look I'm a dreamer with a camera and a spiffy light filter, now I shall loll artistically in a feeilllddd~~~,' but you've totally ditched that in favor of something interesting and real.
