Who is this smartly-dressed fellow?

Director... NET Government, I take it?

Lets use Modern Day guns Mass Effect.

Lets make them gold too.

Lets also have these two guys in the back not give a FCUK

Lets also have combine (wtf?)

It's a good pose, but the models don't fit and that makes it pretty mediocre at best.

I love that guy's pose those he's like "bitch suck my danga-lang"

Not exactly Mass Effect if you've read my comics.

Neo-Victorians are not known for being modest or humble with design either. :V

Well, was mostly a model test, but the idea of modern weapons thrown in is based around the idea that certain weapons and technology, as far into the future as the story is (5047), most high-tech weapons are nigh-impossible to obtain outside of the military, and as such, older types of weapons saw a boom in underground markets. In the LGC, you're as likely to have an M4 as you are to encounter an M8-Avenger.

First off, no I haven't read your comics, as we discussed personally, you know why. Second, you said it was in the mass effect universe. Don't have quarians in your shit if it is not mass effect.

Doesn't excuse the combine.

I hope you realize ME guns can blast their armor and kinect shields, real guns couldn't.... so yeah you're ass fucked.

I gotta be honest, besides from knowing it is from you ( and to be fair the editing and poses are nice), this really is no different from any generic pose I've seen, with a rehash of generic boring models with weird ideas thrown in that make no sense.

I like the pose, don't like the lore or ideas.

I know Dylan.

I don't exactly have any other way of representing characters, and why can't I use them anyways? I'm pretty sure a model is fair game, I'm not saying it's my own or getting any benefit from including them either. If that was true, it'd mean I couldn't use humans because it would be too close to real life.

Considering almost no-one in there seems to be wearing kinetic armor... More like BDU's and vests.

Well, if you don't like the mix-mash, I don't think you'd like the LGC.

Well if you knew that I don't read your stuff due to feeling like a creep, why mention it?

If you can't represent characters, that is fine and I understand, you are only one person. and I never said you can't use them, simply that I think you should opt for better looking stuff, it seems like you're just finding stuff to fill in gaps and then shoe-hammering it into your story/canon and making it an excuse.

You're right, I don't like the LGC cause it sounds like a very poor fanfic, why are they using M4s and BDUs and shit in the ME universe? You ignored my point. This isn't Mass Effect? Yes it is, it's in the same universe and is bound by the same rules.

You might be close to me, doesn't mean I'll automatically praise you though, don't take it too personally, but I think this whole idea is really bad. I'm sure you got some good stuff in there like the characters and overall potential, but you show silliness and immaturity, why do they need to be wacky Victorian stereotypes? Why are you putting M4s and BDUs in the ME universe?

None of it makes sense and it just doesn't add up. I can't take it seriously.

I didn't, you did. x:

Canon/story/rules, uh, Dylan, you're under the impression it's in the ME universe, I thought it was clear that it wasn't at all and exists standalone. Modern technology is there to illustrate the gap between the powerful socialites of the NET and the people who wish to resist, who have to turn to relics of the past or more dated equipment. While I'm at it, why not just say It's Half Life or Star Wars too? Might as well be.

I know you wouldn't, but my point remains that it's not the same universe by far. Being under the preconception it is ruins the whole point of it and only forces it into your predetermined rules of another universe. Neo-Victorian stereotyping was to be analogous to the socialism that say, Miri or Tali would be more readily familiar with and makes the NET feel even more alien to them. The Modern technology only intensifies the gap as intricate technology and advanced weaponry is only available to the rich and powerful, giving them the needs to oppress the working class of the NET and impose their Victorian style of beliefs.

But yeah, gotta lose the preconception there Dylan. Treat it as it's own story altogether.
