My latest redesign of my favorite G.I.Joe villain. I try not to totally diverge fro the original design of the toy/cartoon, but add realistic elements to make it more workable. I picture Zartan as someone who struggles with his own identity, so when he's not portraying someone else, his own "face" must be something outlandish, hence the war paint. I added a chain of alligator/crocodile teeth to show a bit of history with swamp life.
