One of my favorite flowers because of its connection to one of my favorite Disney films of all time. Magnolia is called mu lan hua in Chinese. The same name by the warrior-maiden, Mu Lan. Like the peony, it symbolizes female beauty. A magnolia with a butterfly symbolizes a man's quest for love. The Chinese characters written are Mu Lan Hua.Materials:
