Description
This is fan art of Kurama (Minamino Shuuichi) from one of my all time favorite animes, Yuyu hakushou. I know Kurama usually wears business casual clothing but I just wanted to make him look like a teenager for once.On his shirt it says "Kiss my night" (Japanese shirts have really weird English sayings on them, trust me) and the patch on his coat says "Anta no Tameni" which means "For your sake"
This was drawn in regular pencil first, traced with black ink pen, colored with water colored penciles (even though I don't blend the colors like I should with water colores)
I drew this for Takefuji-san for getting a 92%... or was it 93%... maybe 97%... anyway for getting a high score on her project for her class.

Dude! You seriously made him look so bad ass and yet casual. It is a nice change from his more eleborate/formal wear. I really am digging the outfit choice. And damn love the hair being put up in a pony tail. You've even given the added bonus of a scene and an interesting angle to look at him from. Very nicely done and unique take on this wonderful character.

First thing that caught me was the perspective then the fact it was kurama. This is an interesting image of him, I love his sunglasses and pinky ring. ^__^

I used a combination of normal colored pencils with water colored pencils. The black jacket was just inked with a normal black pen.

It's a critique not an insult and if I would know how it should go, I would have told you initially. And I didn't say they looked abnormal... It just looked like he was sitting instead of walking/standing. It took me a few seconds to realize that he wasn't sitting.
