The size of full-size images vary a lot, but they're rarely above 3000px to any dimension. Depends a lot on the purpose of the image. If it's meant to be a wallpaper or a print, then it's always a minimum of 2000px, but if it's just for gallery display, then I stick to about 1200-1800px.

So far I haven't ever had anything removed, so I think I've had the rules figured out pretty well.

Well, maybe not new rules.

More like, new enforcement of those rules.

For example, an anime drawing of a cute girl exposes her breasts.
If it states she's over 18 or 21 years of age, and looks that age, all is good.

However, that is not the case. The DA staffers will simply remove
a work the "deem" to look underage. Or perhaps, a troll has nested on your page, they think,
hey, that looks suspicious. Why not report it? The DA staffers seem to just oblige and remove it
without even looking at your deviation, or reading the written description.

I wouldn't normally mind. But three of my drawings have been removed from my gallery
in the last month and a half. I've had no problems prior to this.

Since my latest works, seem to be similar with yours. I just thought I'd let you know.

To finish, I must say that your work is great. Love the coloring, love the positions.
Keep up the good work.

Well, can't deny the possibility. But I believe it has more to do with the general atmosphere of the picture. For instance, some of the pics I see in your gallery, with censorships over them (like Karin's sexy time, and the Gina - Restricted Area), seem very suggestive. Meaning spreading legs, anus, etc. Stuff like that is considered pornographic by nature, as opposed to a girl just sitting pretty, for instance. A picture where the girl is implying "here's my ass, look at it" is considered much more pornographic than "Here I am basking in the sunlight, and my butt happens to be bare for you to look at". It's all about what the situation is, and what the character's intentions towards the viewer and herself are. And the amount of exposed private parts to some extent. Anus is hardly ever considered non-pornographic around here, for what I've seen.

No offense meant with that or anything. I don't mind your stuff at all. But I do kind of understand why some of it might be subject to removal around here.

You could always slap in a small censor box and upload it to your scraps temporarily. That way I, or anyone else, could have a look. You could then delete it later. That way only those watching you will initially notice it.

Or you could just upload it somewhere else and post me a link to it. I'm kinda curious about the image by now.

If you mean the pic at the top of the adult art section, I don't see how that would be a problem on dA. Seems perfectly fine.

The fetishes do not bother me. They're not too far off some of my own, in fact, heh.
