So I'm probably making a really stupid decision here, but I'm just gonna throw myself in here and ask;
How is Serena considered a stalker, obsessed with Ash, etc., meanwhile THIS animethief.files.wordpress.com⦠is considered perfectly fine, or at the very least better since I hear "Juvia's a stalker" so much less?
Shipping and bashing seriously shouldn't blind people from logic THIS much.

Have people really denied Juvia is a creepy stalker and potential sex offender? That's one of the most obvious aspects of her character!

No. They haven't. But I see soooo many more comments about Serena being a "stalker", even though she clearly isn't (if she is, then so are every single other person Ash has traveled with) than Juvia being one, even though she clearly creeps around Gray and has a whole room filled with plushies of him.
And something about that is seriously not okay with me. And I say that as a Gruvia shipper.

Serena WAS a kind of a stalker at first since she was pursuing him even when he was unaware of who she was and why she'd want to see him. I'm talking about before she became a traveling companion. Afterwards, she's something else altogether. But yeah Juvia's worse. xD

That seems KIND OF a stretch though, doesn't it?
Sorry if this makes me sound like a smartass, but stalking is more like creeping around a person and following them around to different places without them knowing it.
Serena on the other hand was trying to find a boy she remembered from her childhood and who was an inspiration to her. And maybe I'm taking too big of a leap with this, but by that logic couldn't you say that the police tracking down a missing person is stalking too?
And for "something else altogether", I still think I see too many "Serena's a stalker" comments. And the people who imply her to be a Yandere should probably stop too, since things like that are why we can't have nice things on the internet.

Serena displayed stalker-like behavior in her first five episodes, but it stopped afterwards. But yeah, she was never a real stalker I guess.
