I'm not really sure if I placed this painting in the correct category. If not, please someone let me know, thanks

This is an original character of mine, kind of based on Disney's Ariel. I used a referece for the torso pose found on google and the rest had no reference. I realize that there are some anatomy issues, but by the time I noticed them, it was already inked and too late to fix it. :/

The mermaid I drew on drawing paper with a 2H pencil. Then I scanned it and painted the image in Photoshop Elements. The sea plant was completely digitally drawn.

Considering how my original pieces come out, I'm actually pretty pleased with this one Took me about 2 nights to complete too.
