I took this a few days ago over the Christmas holiday. There were many items i took photographs of, but this Candle really attracted my attention because of how the flame had melted the wax.Digital Photograph

Very nice picture! I love the candle it's really cool! Somehow -- to me -- the candle reminds me of pumpkin candles we have. This picture also reminds me of a nice flash with candles about hope and faith so naturally I think of such beautiful things when looking at the beautiful image. I hope you had a wonderful holiday and once again lovely picture.

It looks really good. The warm colors against the black background really draws the eye. What was your exposure set at?

Im not sure, it was on "no flash" in the dark with just the candle lighting the room. I took this a while ago so im not certain what i had it on. Sorry lol

Try taking your photograph near to a wall or something flat where the light from the candle can go up on to it. (Just an idea) Dont think it has to be a complete black background, my camera was obviously having a good day when i took mine lol

Panasonic 12x optical zoom
I just got it for Christmas. My dad wanted to get off of his camera so he gave me a small and better version of it... ^^ It was my big present of the year.

Well Ok then, try what i said in my last comment. Also dont use the zoom unless you have to, the pixels can get blurred on some cameras with large zoom capabilities.
My advice is to use a wall (or something similar but flat) and to get directly eye level with your candle (or object) try and have the camera the same height as the candle
