Ah, the sketch! -- I was about to ask about the arms ...
I like it. He does indeed look more mature. His head does appear to have an odd shape, though, due to the transition into the Mariam bit.
His smile/smirk is very ... intimidating.
The texture of the scarf is ... a bit odd to me (it looks more like a collar of sorts) but Kai's scarf is hardly ordinary from what I hear.
