That was a roller coaster of an episode!!!!!!! I really enjoyed it and this scene where Steven and Pink Steven hugged was so strong (and holy bless that bit of animation) and I literally cried at that part. For so long Steven was finding out who he was, what he was and for someone [White Diamond] to undermine him and tell him he is just his mom was heart breaking.

His gem going through Pink Diamond's, Rose Quartz's and finally his form as well as telling White that Pink "She's gone" just further cements that this isn't Pink Diamond. All Steven's choices, paths chosen, strengths, powers, etc. are Steven's and his alone.

We are not our parents, we are our own choices!! Hats off to this episode!!!!
