Made this to celebrate 's return from a looooooong hiatus.
I've missed you, babe!
The red panda is =kame-cha
The koala is me.
The kanji on the koala's chestplate means "light", which incidentally is my name in Japanese.
Used no references whatsoever, which is fantastic!
Program used: PaintTool SAI
Flower texture on kimono: Flower1 (PTS)
Texture on the koala's hakama: Watercolor1 (PTS)
Brushes: Splash and Nib Pen (PTS)

Wow. Beautiful and utterly breathtaking! The entirety of the picture is both heartwarming and calm. This has such amazing textures that bring about an realistic feel while keeping the style wonderful and cartoony. The characters themselves are both lovely and adorable! I only have one thing to say that might be helpful (>.< don't hurt me please) the sleeves on the red panda's kimono, the part where they come together in the front was a little hard for me to see at first (though I figured it out obviously). I want that kimono though XDD Oh goodness. I see improvement in your work all the time. This is lovely<3
