Description "Life is a catch! I suggest you catch it while you can."

This was a very very lucky event. A Morrigan cosplayer messaged me asking if I was interested in getting photos with her at Gencon. I was definitely up for it, and we grabbed up Joanne last minute.

It goes without saying how excited I am to have some photos of Flemeth, this is currently my favorite costume that I plan on wearing. A lot.

Your gauntlets! I love them! No, wait, I love the whole thing! How did you make them? (The gauntlets)

Thank you!
The gauntlets are grey stretch gloves I took from an old bodysuit. I took craft foam and cut out shapes for the fingers and gauntlets, heat shaped, and did 5 layers of modge podge before spray painting them silver. Then I did weathering with black acrylic, and highlights with rub n buff silver. Then I sealed the foam with 3 layers of modge podge and glued each piece onto the glove with Fabritac glue

Awesome job! Wish I could make a costume like this... The gauntlets, the makeup, the feathers, all perfect

Wow! Great job! The entire costume looks very well done, and I love the makeup! It really sets this apart from the other Flemeth cosplays I've seen.

Thank you so much! I am always a bit disappointed that people don't do the aging makeup for their Flemeths, because people seem to really enjoy that extra detail.

They are so squishy, and it is way too entertaining to use an ATM in those things xD

What kind of make-up you used to make you look older? I have adored this costume for some time now, it's so good! Did you hand-sew all those silver "buttons" or whatever they are into the costume?

Thank you so much! I am glad you like it

I used Ben Nye theatrical makeup, the creme kind. I only used two colors, character shadow and highlight. There are some pretty neat aged tutorial videos on youtube..that is the best way I learned xD I put on a layer of foundation, then add the shadow for dark lines, and highlight around it. Then I blend and smooth it out with mineral powders.

The silver studs are actually brads that you find in the scrapbooking section xD I just mapped them out on the costume, poked holes where they needed to go and inserted them. They snag easy, but can be replaced no problem!

Oh I see, I see. So it's all about the make-up then. I have to try that sometime.
Thanks for the tip!

Now that's cleaver! And I guess it's not that expensive either?
May I ask one more, what material you used making corset?

No problem!

The studding was a bit expensive if I didn't have any coupons and was too impatient to wait for them to go on sale. If you follow Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby they will have 50% off sales on scrapbooking supplies. That is the best time to buy them since they are typically 3 bucks for 50-100 studs, and I needed roughly 1500-2000 (I honestly lost count). I ended up spending at least $50-75 on studs alone o.o;

The fabric for the top, collar, and skirt is gabardine knit fabric. It seemed to have the closest texture to the in game render :3
