I know I may be a little late, but here's my tribute to a manga legend that we have just lost recently. The news came at us out of the blue and it struck like a ton of bricks. It was such heartbreaking news, especially for a fan like myself.
We all remember Akira Toriyama as a charismatic and ingenious manga creator that has revolutionized the entire manga/anime industry with such legendary franchises as Dragon Ball. He went above and beyond to change the world of entertainment and boy, did he deliver. His devotion and talent would ultimately lead to the creation of, Dragon Ball Z, an incredible anime classic that utterly blew away the minds of all who watched it in the 90s. If it wasn't for Dragon Ball Z and its stellar success, anime awareness worldwide would never have skyrocketed back then.
May we think of him with fond, cherished memories and a special place in our hearts. His incredible contribution to the world of entertainment has been a tremendous inspiration to us all and will always be remembered by anime fans everywhere.
