Description Earth E3 - War - When it comes to Hercules, to paraphrase a popular saying:

"Elysium doesn't want him and Hades is afraid he'll take over."

Growing up as a bastard son of Zeus in ancient Greece was never easy for Hercules. He was always strong for his age and "accidentally" killed his music teacher when he was very young.

Hercules grew up and eventually married. However, he killed his family in a drunken rage (something that wasn't exactly uncommon, unfortunately).

King Eurystheus, ruler of the region, attempted to have Hercules put to death, but was unsuccessful. The ropes broke, blades snapped in two, etc. So he assigned Hercules 12 Labours to complete as retribution (and, if they proved too much for him, all the better).

Hercules slayed the "unkillable" Nemean Lion and ended the threat of the nine-headed Lernaean Hydra. He's the reason unicorns and basilisks are believed to be extinct. He almost single-handedly wiped out the dragon race, the boggarts and the graboids and permanently turned the goblins and the orcs against mankind.

But his final task of slaying the Gorgon proved too much for him. While Hercules did, indeed, slay the beast, he was caught in her gaze and was instantly immobilized.

Unlike others there who became but shades of their mortal selves, Hercules never acclimated to his new environment. He was a threat to Hades, Lord of those realms and would depose him, given enough time to find allies.

Hercules fought his way out of the Five Realms, slew Cerberus (the 3 headed beast guarding the entrance), and destroyed the Defender, even keeping part of its armor as a trophy. Eventually, he navigated the River Styx to find his way back to his body (still perfectly preserved, thanks to the Gorgon's curse).

(It's believed that Hades actually allowed him to escape, just to get him out of his hair.)

Now trapped in a strange world, much more advanced than the one he left, with languages he cannot understand and technologies he cannot hope to comprehend, Hercules falls back to the few constants he understands: Wine. Women. And, of course, Warfare.

Until he's found by a mysterious stranger who introduces him to something called "Fire Whiskey". Who speaks his language and offers to help him adjust to this brave new world.

All he has to do... is become War Incarnate.

Hercules is all too eager to comply.
