Description Someone commissioned me to make their subspecies of otter and this is the result.  He's made of rust and red minky fabric with felt for the eyes and claws.  He has thread sculpted details on his face and for his toes.  This is my first time doing satin stitching, but I think it turned out well.  He's right around 11 1/2inches long and 7 inches tall.

Plush copyright to me, but character design is copyright to the commissioner.

Wow, this one is fantastic, I love the shape of his head and his teeny tiny little paws! You totally nailed the otter anatomy. Awesome work!

I thread sculpted them.  It's when you use the thread to pull places in more to give the plush a more defined shape.

Ahhh! Because at first glace it looked like they had darts for each toe and I'm like that's way too complex.
