Some shots from the huge Apocalypse Game Day, last sunday.it was a huge battle of imperial forces against combined forces of Chaos, Orks and Tau (!)
there was about 53000 points worth of armies on the tables

100? That's still better than around here, which is maybe 20 or 30...? Orlando is much smaller of course, but one would think it would be more since we have a huge comic/ gaming store and an official GW store. Ugh. At least the new house is where GW's Gameday USA is, so many more players (hundreds?) than here. Of course, that's scary because I'll be terrified to stick my noob playing ability on the line. lol

for this event, i traveled from asia to europe XD

lol Ah, I see. I understand about distances though. My surgeon when I broke my elbow was 45 minutes away. lol In Florida, this is common. In Maryland, such a drive would make people think you were going to another planet!

there's no battle report...
imperial side won. due to the time constraint, in 2nd turn, after orks move, and tau shooting, there was not enough time to resolve all the assaults. it was kinda stupid. "evil alliance" conceded after 3rd imperial turn.
a game this size should be played in 2 days and without time constraints i guess >_>

In the first pages of codex apocalypse they say a game take like a day at least, so I guess it was unavoidable.
But this is not over, we shall strike down the weak empire, For the Greater Good.

By the twelve hells, Orcs are great allies but their vocabulary is pretty limited.
And it's pretty hard to negotiate when all they ask for is war.
