First off: I need some help. This picture, I want it shadedto look dark and evil-feelin', if you catch my drift. Anyone
feel up to helping a fellow Superjail Superfan out?
Credits to come later once picture is shaded.

I would say first google out open canvas so you can get a basic form of the program. After that since you can use the free trial use the lighting feature in there to see what angle the lighting can come from. Mnn as for background....>>; hate to say it but he looks as if he is the 'cat who ate the canary' soo something that would fir his overall expression would be something bloody and somewhat.....greusome. Thats just my opinion though.

Man. That's the thing. Everything I put up here. It's all done
on Microsoft Paint. D8 So trying to make something colorful...
Is actually rather hard. Suppose I can always look up 'Colorful'
on Google, huh?

Paint?! Ohmigod, that is amazing work (I can barely draw a functional-looking person on Paint)!
I'm not saying draw an extremely detailed background, but maybe a rainbow (usually a common trademark of Superjail fanart).
And I'm sorry if my advice sounds a little awkward, I'm just used to Photoshop more.
