excellent! but could you make a tutorial on how to have the eyes looking in a different direction while the face stays in the same angle? right now im going with moving the eyes across the face a little, but it doesnt really work. thanks!

Ah, that's a problem that's pretty easy to tackle. Keep the outside edges of the eyes (the eyelids/lashes) in the same position that you would as if the face is looking forward in the pose. For the actual eyes themselves, though, you lightly draw an oval gravitating closer to whichever side of the eye the character is looking. If it looks good, darken it and you're good to go!

I tried that before, but it made the chibi look like a cuckoo. :/
other times when i tried to make the eyes a bit smaller, it still looked like it was looking straight ahead. ill keep trying, but it would be great to have an example...
