Nice designs! Kinda a SA80/G36 mix uo eh?
Never been a fan of the '86. The scope suite is a great idea but its too limiting. The 36C is a better model, all rail with built in sights.
The SA80 isnt too bad I hear but I am curious to see what the UKAF will adopt for their new rifle this year. You reckon they will go with the G36 or something else?

I think they're more likely to adopt the Hk 416, just like France.

Did France adopt the 416? Well hot damn, glad they upgraded! Same for the UK! Now if the US and Canada jumped on the 416 thats a major NATO advantage. Shared magazines as well as shared rifles. That helps logistics for everyone!
Not to mention those 416's are a fine rifle. Those and the TAR-21 are about the top of the line in 5.56 rifles. Built to be just that.
