Lovely sketch. I especially like that glare she's fixing the audience with. Yes, the outfit and shading is nice, but that expression is something else. She really looks like she wants jump off the page and shoot one of us. Great work!

Fantastic. Great expression and the shiny effects on her outfit work really well.
The striking red background really brings her to the forefront. Great stuff!

She looks like she's out for blood! Nice take on the Baroness! I usually see a lot of sexualized images of her. This one is a very refreshing take, and really shows the sinister side of her that I like to see in the comics. And it's done in good ol' markers and ink. Priceless!

Great piece. Classic look. Sexy, but sinister. Love how you got her hair. It has that modern stylistic touch you always give your portrayals. Strangely enough, this makes me feel a bit melancholy. I've always been a big fan of this series. Really enjoyed the 80s original and the comic run. However, with the exception of the Resolute Mini-Series Warren Ellis penned, it's been a pretty terrible last few years for Joe. The movie was god awful and I'm still left in absolute bewilderment on how *wrong* they got The Baroness.

Also, while the new Renegades series borrows *some* artistic/animation style from the Resolute one shot series, it, likewise, has just dropped the ball. I still don't understand why Hasbro chose to abandon their original plans to relaunch the franchise using Resolute and it's more mature direction, more akin to the comics. Have you seen any of the Renegade series, Mr. Hodges? As an artist, do you approve of their new visual approach, or do feel they should have kept closer to the Original interpretations while adding just a touch of modern flare, like Resolute?
