In an earlier instalment of the story, our heroine received some tempting invitations.
Among them, a poetic love note.
How could she resist?
What would life with a poet be like?
What if she allowed herself to imagine it?

The instruction on the back of the note read: "Go to Page 5", and here she is.
At the Opera.
Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, to be precise, which is a mammoth 15-hour work taking place over four consecutive nights.

The poet insists on conversing in rhyming couplets, and she has a sinking feeling that - were she to marry him - he would write angst-ridden poems about the blocked drains in the kitchen, rather than fixing them.

Will she stay with this version of the story, or will she return to the options and choose another one?
