The House Crow, being an exotic species, is viewed with some suspicion by some people. Some are afraid they might threaten indigenous species. Sometimes it is important to evaluate exotic species, when there is a risk of them driving native species to extinction. If you ask me no such risk exists with the House Crow.
Other people fear that the House Crow populaton might explode. However the population has been in the Netherlands for 25 years now, and no such thing has happened. I doubt that a south Asian Crow species' population would explode in our climate, and many other people here doubt it too.
The House Crows here were already going to be caught and killed, but some people filed a lawsuit which delayed that decision. The future of the House Crow here now lies in the court's hands.

How awful I hope it all works out for the poor birds. They should eliminate people instead and leave the animals alone they don't bother no one. These creatures were not put on this earth to be killed.Thank you for sharing the story
