Description
From a series I did of Final Fantasy girls in bathing suits, this was the latest entry from FFXI, Spiny Spipi!She's a notorious monster in east Saruta Baruta who is a giant catapillar that drops the Mist Silk Cape.
This drawing is my own creation based after the catapillar creature in the game.

Yep! I hunted Spipi many many times and sold the cape off twice for money. I had a Mithra whitemage ^_^
I was gonna do one for other NMs I encountered but Spipi was the only one I ever met. =/

Awesome! And you did a red mage cosplay at Akon! I think I might have seen you... I was the Kingdom Hearts Vivi though I wasn't in it very long. Are you local to the Dallas area?

nah, i live in Corpus Christi, but i try (read: try) to go in a-kon every year (the 6-7 hour drive is grating). There was a lot of people from kingdom hearts, and a lot of vivis, ive never played KH so i probably wouldnt have reckognized the vivi from KH lol

Spipi was my first NM I met. Jaggedy Jack was my second. Leaping Lizzy was my third. I planned to draw all of them like Spipi but like a lot of my projects, I just got too busy and moved on =}

Well, if I do, they'll be put up here. I got the Mist Silk cape twice actually. The first time, I sold it for 28k. The second time, I kept it. I've long since stopped playing the game but my girlfriend still plays so she has the cape right now =}

I agree that it is one of your best pieces. The cape amazes me, but is it a body painting or a bathing suit?

That's what I was thinking. That and if it was a bathing suit it'd have to be like.. Metal to stay on which would be VERY uncomfy.

This is, in my opinion, one of the best pictures you've done, i've tried to draw it a few times for practice, but I can't get it to come out as good as yours.
