We all have those days when we want to say something yet we can’t just take the risk because what we might lose is too great. In the end we hesitate, leaving all possibilities behind denying change. Every time one hesitates, he is imprisoning his heart inside a cold steel cage called fear, all while keeping his words from being spoken. His lips are tight shut, wrapped by an invisible barricade that prevents him to say what is on his mind, what he truly feels, what his heart dictates. To hesitate is to escape rather than facing honesty. They say that to gain what you never had before, one must do what he has never done before. It is better to have regretted doing something than not doing it at all. Still, it is easier said than done. One hesitates for a reason. One hesitates to save himself from potential problems. One question remains though, if this is your last day on Earth, would you still hold all your feelings back and remain silent? Live your life to the fullest. You may lose when you overcome your current hesitation, but it will definitely free your heart and perish every doubt that clouds your mind of uncertain future…So stop asking ”What if”.
