OH MY GOSH, IT'S SO FREAKING ADORABLE ALDSKFJALSDKJFLADSJFK I THINK THAT EVERY TIME I SEE IT ALSKDJFALSDKJF <3 You have always had a rather cute art style <3<3<3 I LOVE IT <3
I have always been rather impressed with your marker work. THAT HAS NOT CHANGED. I love the way you shade, from the sharp shapes to the softer, more blended shades, especially in the skin, BUT ALSO LOOK AT THAT HAIR ALSKDFJALSKDFJDLAKSFJ <3 On a similar note, your subtle highlights add a beautiful shine and depth to the piece that complements the shading well <3
HEICHOU LOOKS FANTASTIC. LOOK AT THAT HAIR, HIS NARROW EYES, THAT EXPRESSION XD Also of course the beautiful HANDS <3 Both sets look absolutely fantastic <3 I have always been envious of your ability to draw hands laksdjflaksjdfdlksaj They look incredible!
And on top of it all, THE SCENARIO IS ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL XD I CANNOT GET OVER IT. IT MAKES ME SMILE AND GIGGLE AND FILLS ME WITH DELIGHT <3 "I'll cut them off" SO HEICHOU <3
ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS <3 GREAT JOB! AND GOOD LUCK IN THE CONTEST <3<3<3

THANK YOU TT_TT I'm glad you enjoy my style! <3<3<3
I'm still working really hard to learn markers, and your appreciation encourages me. <3 I think I'm getting better with practice! I actually tried a background this time, even if it's just abstract shapes. xD Let's see--each skin tone is made up of three markers. Levi has suntan brown, beige, and peach in his skin (with peach as the base). Sam has beige, peach, and pale peach (with pale peach as the base). Kim said Sam has pale skin, so I tried really hard to keep hers pale and show a contrast between the two. I'm very pleased with how they came out. The hair colors are a mix as well. Levi has two shades of black, a dark blue-gray, and a cream/gray mix for the highlights. Sam has a base red (the marker in the picture), a maroon, one of the greens from her shirt (which is made of two greens), and a clear blender to bleed the highlights. I was especially nervous to do Levi's because it's hard to get depth and variation in black. At first I was hesitant to even use a "black" at all--I tried mixing a bunch of blues and grays and even browns, but I couldn't get anything dark enough to suit Heichou. In the end, I just went for it, and I'm really pleased with how it came out. I'M GLAD YOU APPRECIATE HIM T_T Also I'm glad you like the hands. They got redrawn a bunch of times in the sketch, haha. xD #storyofdrawinghands
I'm glad you love the scenario too! I thought it would be really fun to draw, and it was. Thank you! Good luck to you as well! <3

YOU'RE WELCOME!!! <3<3<3 Your style is FREAKING. ADORABLE. OF COURSE I LOVE IT <3
Yes yes, practice. Normally I hate that word, but I do understand the value. The more you practice, the better you get, and you're already great! It's only upward from here <3<3<3 I can imagine that backgrounds with markers would be super hard and consume lots of ink. Maybe if you actually draw and line a background, it would be easier to do? *knows nothing of marker art* You definitely have contrast in the skin colors! And Sam is def pale. Kudos to you for a job well done <3<3<3 ASLDKFJALSDKFJASLDKJF THERE IS GREEN IN SAM'S HAIR???? WHOA. (That's the part of color theory and shading in digital art I have yet to really touch, much less play with.) Black is a really hard color to play with. I struggle with that in my own art as well, and it's not even markers laksjdflasdjflaskdjf But I have to say, Heichou turned out fantastic in the end anyway <3 FANTASTIC JOB <3 HAND DRAWING IS A LIVING NIGHTMARE. I absolutely believe there were many drafts of them alsdkfjasldfkjasdlfkj But they turned out well, SO EVEN MORE KUDOS <3
I'm glad you had fun with it! That's one of the most important parts of doing art, lol. Thank you! <3
