Yeah it's allowed. Because when you follow links off of DA you get a page where they say they void their responsibility for what the user see beyond the link.
Also it's your social media connections, who knows what is posted on Twitter? Or Pixiv?
You can even link directly to the specific tweet in your description. Lots of artists do it, DA doesn't care.
