Our Rifle Dog pups are 6 weeks old now and are preparing for their first trip outside! We're going to let them explore at their own pace. The barn door is wide open and waiting for them to pass through.

These pups are the resulting breeding from our working Rifle's, Kate and Blondie. Kate and Blondie are active property and livestock protection dogs. Their trained and bred goal and occupation is to patrol and protect their home. They are allowed free roam of the property. These pups have been bred for the same purpose. Conformation has come second to working ability, though it has not been deminished. These pups have been born and raised outside the home, but are well socialized with people, other dogs and farm animals.

Smokey Appaloosa; Male; This boy is one of the most bold and boisterous of the litter. He shows a lot of his mother in him, in that he appears to be all business. In whatever it is he is doing, he always focuses on it, and it alone. *Reserved*

Blonde Appaloosa; Female; This girl is one of the more calm pups in the litter. She seems to always have herself under control. She is watchful and reserved. *Reserved*

Grey Appaloosa; Female; This little girl is probably one of the most interesting pups in this litter -if not the most interesting. Like her father, she very much has a good sense of duty. She seems to have a solid off switch. When her business is done, she becomes the goof and the boss of the group -or tries at least. Despite her small size, she is very loud and playful. *Reserved*

Blue Roan (darker); Male; This pup is wary and watchful. He's very aloof with strangers and new experiences. He's known to bark at sudden noises and watch his parents work from within the barn. We expect him to be a very good alert dog.

Blue Roan (lighter); Female; Confident and comfortable, this pup is a bit for wandering. On their first day outside, she was the first to leave the barn. She followed her nose until boredom brought her back. The world is wide and new to this girl.

Smokey Blue Sabino; Male; This pup is the roundest of the group. He loves his food and can often be found rooting around in the hay after dinner, looking for any dropped pieces. He prefers the company of people to dogs, but seems to well solo as well, as long as there's plenty of snacks.

Grullo Appaloosa; Male; This pup is quiet... very quiet. He's always hanging back and watching. He seems to be very much in tune to people and other animals and enjoys watching what's going on beyond the tree line of the property. *Keeping*

Cream Appaloosa; Female; She's loud, she's rude, and she's always trying to push her way through. This girl is constantly at a battle of wills against her brothers and sisters for everything. She likes to try and take charge, but really, despite her best efforts, she's always put back by someone else. Not the biggest, not the smallest, but definitely the bitchiest.
