so havent posted much this week bc between college being back and having to finish my schoolwork, prepping for next year, AND continuing these october art promopts ive been too tired to actually write up descriptions and upload things (plus fsr stash wont let me add a description anymore??? so i have to get to the submit page to write descriptions /neg)

SO. This guy is. a bit of a mess to explain. Hoodude's funky felt strip hair kiiiiiiinda looks a bit like bandages if you squint hard enough. the prompt was mummy. i didnt REALLY wanna make a new oc, and didnt wanna draw canon characters. wasnt in the mood to make an adopt either but like... linking funky voodoo doll boy was all the enabling i needed i guess BAHAHHAHAH. ANYWAYS. for added context i think its Very Funny that in MH canon besides Viktor Frankenstein and Hexiciah Steam, all simulacrums are built by OTHER simulacrums. Frankie obviously made Hoodude, Alivia, that gingerbread bitch in that one webisode, some creature called Zappit in the MH Diaries book series i still need to read. probably more, frankie is a chaotic little shit after all (affectionate). I'm p sure Hoodude's journal even mentions that Frankie's dad built Frankies mom so we HAVE THAT TOO. I found that v v interesting and I thought hey what if it's a common joke in the MH universe that simulacrums usually always end up building other simulacrums more than the usual mad scientists? Then I thought "oh poppy would HATE people who make those comments" (i mean she hates most people anyway for the smallest things dfhnfdhdfi) then that devolved into her bringing a mummified corpse to life to get them to kill people who make said comments LMAO

And that's what this boy here is for! Storywise he was used for some ancient ritual sacrifice thousands of years ago but because of how well his body was preserved, he's been displayed in some museum somewhere, with no surviving info on who he was, not even a name or anything, and when poppy somehow?? resurrected him he had no memory of his past life at all. So basically just woke up to a little raggedy doll looking 10 year old telling him "ok go kill people" and he probably responded with something along the lines of "what the fuck, no way, you creepy little child" and uh. He exists now LMAO. also yeah his hoodie is meant to match poppys bahahahah

update november 14 decided the stupid name poppy would've given this mf is "mystery" cant believe it didnt come to me sooner /lh
