buy an Intuos. I know it is some amount of money but it will be worth it. As a graphic designer, everyone has that or a Cintiq, but that will run you into the G's.

I think everyone I know professionally (myself included) started out with a mouse. And these are men who have colored comic pages for DC and Marvel. We all have to start somewhere. All I know, I couldn't draw anything that good with a mouse! so congrads
