I've been really stressed lately, due to the upcoming exams and recent events that occured in my country. As much as I didn't wanna talk about it, I wanted to express my feelings by drawing this fanart, even though originally it was dedicated to a completely different event.

On March 15, Russian Cinematography suffered a great loss. Alexander Shirvindt, a very talented actor and a wonderful man, passed away at the age of 89, in July he would have celebrated his nineteenth jubilee. He was the star of the USSR movies and theatre like "Three Men in a Boat", "The 12 chairs", "The Marriage of Figaro" and etc. I was introduced to him, when I was a kid and was very impressed by the charaters he portrayed, as well as his performance. However, he was also known for his voice over works...My personal favorite voice roles of his are Cheshire Cat from Kievnauchfilm's "Alice in Wonderland" (he also voiced this character in Disney's live action remake in the Russian dub) and Beau from "Three Dog Musketeers" (alias "Dog in Boots"), whom I drew in this artwork.

As you may see, Beau is greeted by a butterfly, representing Alexander Anatolievich's spirit, who came to him to bid him farewell before stepping into the afterlife and reunite with his family and friends.

As sad as this art may seem, I'm actually proud of the final outcome. Sure it looks simple, but I tried to put every single bit of my emotions to reflect my inner condition and it made me feel much better.
