I'm really glad it turned out so well! The mist from her breath didn't turn out too well, but other than that, I like the rest of it 9x12" Bristol Borad, ink, Prismacolour Markers and pencils, and a white Galaxy Marker. Prints might be available in the future

It's just that this one works so well. If you don't know the title, you can imagine anything- maybe an approaching Gryphon, as she wondered across a boundary?

This is a magnificent picture. It's one of those things you cannot explain why it works so well, it just does. Like an adventure story about to unexpectedly happen.
The breath looks much like what I've seen where I am when it's getting cold, but not -40 yet. It too works well.

I still love this piece. I adore the breath puff in the air, and the warm greys for the background, and especially the colour and shading of the coat. Her hair is lovely, too.

Basically, I used the Prismacolour marker called "Mulberry" (a neon-ish purpley-pink) marker. Then I coloured over that with the Mulberry pencil (also Prismacolour brand). After that, I just kept shading using Burnt Ocre (a really dark brown) and black. I blended it with the colourless blending pencil, and just kept repeating the shading till it got really dark, and blending it with the blender. Then I put in a little bit of white in the light areas and blended that in. That's all I did

*nods* I had originally drawn in the back of the hood, but I forgot to ink it...Um...Oops? >.< By the time I figured that out, I had already drawn in the circle and background, and I couldn't figure out how to make it work so...I just kinda left it out O.o
