A commission for Chad Panther, he wanted have himself camping out in the wilderness of Montana, and I thought it would be a bit of a challenge to try doing a dusk scene, since I don't work with dark colours very often.The scan KILLED this drawing, unfortunately >.< I fixed it up the best way I could. The sky is probably my favourite thing about the piece, it's a shame that the scanner killed that too

the scenery in that circle is gorgues. Montana must be a really pretty place to visit.

I really like the lighting here- as well as the shadows. It's also interesting how the "background" is in a circle behind the part of the campsite and character; I've never seen that method before.

Evening and night colors are so hard to pull off. You did a great job in making it work.
