Oohhh, you book-verse Hiccup/Camicazi shippers are gonna hate me. No flames, pleez!Just hear me out: I'm a believer in "opposites attract", Hiccup and Camicazi just have too much in common, and it's too "neat and tidy", in my opinion, for them to be an item.
However if you follow in the books, the banter between Camicazi and Fishlegs, they have a Ron/Hermione vibe between them. They wind up working together and supporting each other in most of the situations because Hiccup has to run off and be a hero. See? Starting to sound familiar?

I also prefer Hiccup and Cami as friend, instead of lovers (although AvannaK's OC Alivia is a very cool character

I don't really agree with this ship because I didn't like hermione and Ron either. First off Hiccup and Camicazi are opposites. Hiccup doesn't really want to be a hero, but some how is. And Camicazi has swager, which Hiccup doesn't have

You know, I *kind of* saw Fishcami in the other books, but now I'm reading "A Hero's Guide to Deadly Dragons", and DAYUM, that book is just BRIMMING with Fishcami action! I think Thuggory is awesome, especially how he pwn'd Snotlout and sided with Hiccup in the first book. Maybe we'll get a chance to see him again since some of How to Steal a Dragon's Sword is supposed to take place at the Flashburn School of Swordfighting.

I'm actually more of a Movie!Hiccup and Book!Camicazi shipper...which is a bit weird, but considering Hiccup's behavior in the movie and what I've heard of little miss wild woman, it sounds like a super fun pairing

The books are adorable, even though the target audience is for young boys, Mrs. Cowell keeps the humor at a level even adults can appreciate. I've burst out laughing when I was reading them to my children!

You know... I have the same idea... When I was reading books from httyd series I thought that Camicazi and Fishlegs will be a great couple
